Sharing from a position of reaching my childhood dream and continuing to flourish at a higher level is where many have longed to be. I believe speaking from this platform can transform the culture and hearts of all those who listen – for I am not sharing my mind; I am sharing my heart.
On full display, it is drawing from ny heart that connects power to the lessons and stories I pass on. When the opportunities arise, I consider it all joy to teach the character and lifestyle of victory beyond achievements, and to impart courage over fear.

Stand Tall were enormously privileged to welcome Olympic silver medalist, Nicola Olyslagers to the stages of our 3 regional tour events in Tamworth, Dubbo and Pambula.Nicola imparted boundless amounts of hope to 9,000 students with her incredibly inspiring message of determination, courage and resilience.Students connected deeply with her humility and passion. She ignited fresh understanding that what seems like a negative in a person’s life can actually be the very thing that equips them for their life’s purpose.Wherever she spoke, she ignited big dreams among our youth coupled with the determination to never give up on these dreams.

We had the honor of partnering with Nicola as she dreamt and prayed, then equipped and catalyzed a group of Christian athletes from many nations to share the Gospel together in their first arena event following a major track meet. Behind the scenes, Nicola prayed and organized others to pray. She helped “coach” the other athletes in preparing their stories. She and her husband Rhys took a big step of faith to secure the arena and worked to pull the pieces together. All of this, while she was in town to compete in the Diamond League Championship. Her bold faith took on a challenge only God could pull off, yet the joy of believing and sacrificing was tangible through Nicola the whole time, affecting everyone that was working together. Nicola has an incredible measure of poise under pressure, humility and grace in leading others, and a deep connection with Jesus which affects HOW she does things. If knowing God’s ways is the indicator of how well one knows Him, Nicola is well down the road of deep friendship with Jesus!We were honored to join and help release the vision God has given her, and we know anyone who partners with her in ministry will experience lasting kingdom fruit!

When I invited Nicola to share her story with my students at St Philip’s Christian College Cessnock, I was excited but had no idea the impact she would have on my students. Her dynamic and engaging style not only held the attention of my students but also sparked genuine interest in Jesus. For 40 minutes after she spoke, Nicola had a line of students wanting to talk with her and ask questions about her faith journey! Nicola’s ability to connect with students of all ages is next to none and I wholeheartedly recommend her for any speaking event. With an invitation to minister both to the church and wider settings, it is my heart to:
- Revive faith in the God who fulfils promises.
- Carry testimonies that break off fear in following Jesus.
- Share the gift of a public life surrendered to the call of God.
From sporting success, the opportunity to minister transcended denomination, language, cultural barriers – for just as God had placed me in an international platform in sports, He gave me a key to enter many of His churches with power to help share the gospel to all and be a connecting point to see unity in the church.
In Australia I am based in a local church on the Central Coast of NSW, and in Europe I am often based in Switzerland, partnered closely to the ministry Beyond Gold. Since 2022, my husband Rhys and I have been travelling across Australia, America, Asia and Europe together to minister as one.
